Starship Design Project:Sub-macroscopic scale

Sub-macroscopic scale craft and weaponry are any that are smaller than what is usually visible to the unaided-human eye, below about 750,000 nanometers(750 microns), but usually at least 2,000 nanometers in size.

Craft and weaponry of this size are typically autonomous robots(nano-bots) and drones, complete with their own method of propulsion or locomotion, and many times capable of self-replication. While typically not 'smart' by themselves, in large clusters or groups the constructs on this scale will typically pool their computational resources together to accomplish greater tasks, after given directives from a controlling source.
