Molecular Scale munitions, or essentially molecular ammunition, generally are the smallest form of autonomous craft built and deployed.

Utilizing advanced nanotechnology techniques, molecular munitions, are constructed atom by atom, and generally are smaller than 1000 nanometers cubed. Typically consisting of a diamondoid materials configured in a variety of warhead types, complete with nano-mechanical devices for simple control and maneuvering. Rarely are they self-propelled or self-guided, and mostly utilized as area effect/control weapons typically dispersed as sub-munitions from larger scale weaponry.
