Fighters and Bombers are tactical craft designed primarily for military use. Vehicles of this size classification are typically around 16 meters to 22 meters in size, however can be much smaller if unmanned or are autonomous constructs.

Specialized for specific roles, such as interception, aerospace-superiority, attack and various other configurations. These craft are rarely designed for interstellar flight, and usually rely upon a central base of operation, such as a space-station or a carrier-class vessel. Used primarily for short duration or medium endurance missions, and usually configurable to be fitted with a variety of modular weapons systems, these craft at their low cost of production and ability to inflict damage upon larger targets make them ideal assets and compliment any space borne force nicely.
