Corvette classification vessels are found within the range of 100 meters up to 130 meters and sometimes slightly beyond this.

This classification of vessel although likely to be capable of interstellar flight would mainly be seen in the role of system defense and patrol. Moderately armored and lightly armed, these fast vessels act as picket craft, searching for and intercepting would be intruders into a controlled volume of space, also used for search and rescue operations for friendly craft in distress.
